Youth Programming Grant

The Foundation’s Youth Programming Grant supports organizations and programs that promote physical activity and/or healthy eating in youth.

T.N. Howe Grant


In memory of T.N. Howe, this grant fosters growth in vital community organizations, such as the Adair County Health Foundation, Greenfield Chamber/Mainstreet, and Warren Cultural Center. The T.N. Howe Grant also helps fund youth development and social and recreational organizations.

  • Adair County Health Foundation to help purchase endoscopy preprocessor for Adair County Health System
  • Warren Cultural Center to purchase new tables
  • Grand Theatre improvements via Girl Scouts Troop #514
  • Community Development Corporation to support housing opportunities for Greenfield
  • Sponsoring Summer Math Camp
  • Boy Scouts to cover membership dues as the tornado prevented normal summer fundraising

Youth Programming

  • Adair County Health and Fitness Center for youth track meet and youth summer camps
  • Adair County Health and Fitness Center to offset registration costs of T-Ball and Little League
  • Nodaway Valley Elementary to purchase Gopher Nine Square in the Air portable game set for the PE program
  • Adair County Conservation Board for summer youth camps
