The Gathering Place is the proud flagship of the Greater Greenfield Community Foundation. When the First Presbyterian Church of Greenfield dissolved in 2022, they needed a group to take on their charitable work and care for the beautiful 150 year old space. Then stepped in the Greater Greenfield Community Foundation to continue to support the community through the Hygiene Pantry and offering a space to gather.

Now The Gathering Place is more than just a physical space; it is a symbol of unity and resilience. Together, we gather to inspire and make a difference, working hand in hand to create a thriving and compassionate community. We encourage you to explore our programs, get involved, and be part of this collective effort to shape a vibrant and resilient tomorrow for Adair County. With a dedicated Giving and Building Committees, the groups look to maintain the building and seek opportunities to support our community through programs like the Winter Gear program to provide families in need of winter necessities.
