The Hygiene Pantry, housed at The Gathering Place, is available for Adair County residents in need of items such as: shampoo, women’s personal products, body soap, toilet paper, lotion, paper towels, deodorant, diapers, razors, household cleaning products, laundry soap, dryer sheets, etc. Learn more here.

Following the May 21, 2024, tornado the Greater Greenfield Community Foundation stepped into a new role, disaster response and recovery. The Foundation is still working to progress the community’s recovery. Learn more here.

One of The Gathering Place’s major projects, the winter gear program provides winter clothing to children 18 and younger in Adair County.

The Greater Greenfield Community Foundation’s Music Committee is able to provide invaluable musical experiences for elementary students. This includes the Voices Raised Youth Choir, annual summer musical (free of cost to participants), and year-on-year amount for the Nodaway Valley Community School District to enhance the elementary music program.

The GGCF NV Playground Fund is kept to continue enhancements to the play structures at the Nodaway Valley Elementary.

With Adair County Healthy Connections, the group’s mission is to foster true connections and establish healthy relationships within our community, empowering one another to prioritize mental well-being and supporting each other on their journey to wellness. Follow the group’s Facebook!

Over the last few years the Foundation has organized replacing a structure and adding another structure with plans to continue park improvements.

To support, advance, and promote the presentation of Christian music and Christian acts to serve and inspire the residents of Adair County.

This fund helps with extra needs the Greenfield Police Department might have in the way of training and equipment to continue to make Greenfield a safe place to live and work.

The Greenfield Manor Activity Fund exists to enhance the quality of life for residents of the Greenfield Rehabilitation and Health Care Center with activities like music days, art and crafts, special events and treats around the holidays. 

The Sport Complex serves the Adair County community and the Foundation supports the complex with needed updates.
